Junk To Funk

A way of recycling energy is to make a piece of art. In my Art Appreciation class, we had a project to do. It was called a Junk to Funk Art Project. The criteria was to use recycled items and turn them into something that looks interesting and is functional. An example is making a tote bags out of plastic bags from the grocery stores that we go to. Having said that, we do go to lots of grocery stores and get quite an amount of things. We are bound to have at least several plastics bags. It was very interesting and hard to do this type of project because it had to be functional. We presented our art piece yesterday. It was fun to see the other students' artwork. Mine however, didn't turn out as I expected it to be. It was due to the fact that I didn't clearly read the instructions. This kind of thing is not only happening around the campus, but nation wide. Find out what you can do to make recycle things fun and useful.

This picture below is a Junk To Funk Fashion. The dress was made from old Vogue Magazines.
